Not novelty. This is just like the add of Paragon Level 100 with no new map added. The items customization can not change the stats of the poor Legendary Items. This can not change the frustration players feel when you identify a Legendary and find it is useful less. Well, it makes no innovation if the game is still the same. The items are items and the functions have no changes. Something that makes Diablo 3 different should be added rather than thinking about transforming the appearance of Diablo 3 items.

Do not care. We would not pick up Diablo 3 again if there has added Items customization. We would not abandon this game if this function added. So this actually make no difference. Whether the appearance changes or not, we enjoy Diablo 3 as usual. The function does nothing to hunting monsters or farming gold and it really takes time to change items to the ideal one. Whatever, the game is the most important.
